Would you like to follow The American Resident but you’re not sure how?

In a Reader:

If you have a subscription to a reader, such as Google or My Yahoo, simply click on the orange RSS icon on the right side of the header and follow instructions.

Using Blogger:

If you use the Blogger platform, you can copy and paste this address: www.theamericanresident.com into your Dashboard where it says ‘Reading List.’ Go to the bottom of ‘Blogs I’m Following’ and you will see an ‘Add’ button. Click on that and add The American Resident’s web address.

By Email:

If you would just like an email sent to you each time a new post is uploaded to this site, you’ll see an email form on the right of the page and you can type in your email address there!

By BlogLovin:

This is my favourite reader (no, I’m not paid to say that I just like it a lot). You can see the badge in the sidebar to the right.

On Facebook:

The American Resident has a Facebook Page! Click on the Facebook button in the sidebar to the right to be taken straight there.

If you don’t have a blog but would still like to read updates:

You can use the email form to have the posts sent straight to your inbox or if you have Facebook scroll down the sidebar and you’ll see a Facebook ‘Like’ button which means you will be able to read new posts via Facebook.
